Merry Christmas
Christmas isn’t a season. It’s a feeling.
Merry Christmas, yes that time of year is just a short time away, it feels like the years are getting shorter and soon we will all be rushing around trying to get last minute presents for everyone. Of course there are some amongst us who are far more organized and plan the event well before and are prepared having bought or ordered all their presents.Well here is an admission I am not organized at all and always tell myself, ‘Ill be more in the mood nearer the time to go and buy
presents as I will have the Christmas spirit and it will be a breeze.’ Guess what? I am always wrong, after all how long do you really want to spend in that queue?
I have always loved Christmas and even now get excited by the whole event. A few things have changed though, that I think has made the good old Merry Christmas feeling more complete and they are these.
Remember what Christmas is all about and be thoughtful.
Find out in plenty of time what people would like and make a list.
Don’t buy someone a surprise gift if you are not sure they would like it. Um I can understand this being a little controversial but believe me the shops are full after Christmas with people returning unwanted gifts, more queues, who needs that?
Try not to equate the amount you spend with the presents worth.
Lastly and in my mind one of the best ‘Use the Internet to help you shop’.
